Alex Wood has over 20 years of experience in Information Security is currently the CISO for The Anschutz Corporation and manages the Enterprise Information Security and Risk Management program. Alex has managed security programs and services at major companies across verticals, including telecommunications, energy, healthcare, entertainment, travel, and financial services. Additionally, Alex has served as a Director on the International Board of the Information System Security Association (ISSA) and is Past-President of the ISSA Denver Chapter. Alex is also Co-host of the Colorado = Security Podcast. Alex received a Bachelor of Arts from Grinnell College and a Masters of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems Security from the University of Denver.

Prior to starting Watchtower Consulting, Lauret invested 30 years building NASCO, a healthcare IT services company serving 24 million members of Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans. Before retiring from NASCO as its first female executive, Lauret served as Chief Risk Officer, building NASCO’s risk management and cybersecurity programs which enabled NASCO to achieve SOC2 and HITRUST certifications well ahead of many companies in the healthcare IT industry. Lauret served as CFO, built NASCO’s consulting, human performance, e-learning and knowledge management practices and was corporate secretary. Lauret has been featured in Forbes and Southern Women in Business magazines and can be heard on Business Radio eXe’s innovation and technology podcast episode and Meditology’s CyberPHIx podcast Culture Club: Creating a Culture of Information Security & Compliance. Lauret has spoken at numerous risk management, cybersecurity and Association for Strategic Planning (ASP) events. She was recently recognized as a 2020 ASP volunteer of the year, is president of the ASP Atlanta chapter and is co-chair of the 2020 and 2021 ASP conferences. In addition, she is an ASP certified Strategy Management Professional. A member of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and Women in Technology (WIT), Lauret was a WIT Woman of the Year Finalist in 2011 and 2012, and she continues to actively mentor business leaders on strategy development and execution. Lauret received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University.

Prior to joining Wayfair, Marnie led the global security program at Orion Health and served as a security leader at Early Warning, and Wells Fargo’s Mortgage division.
